Installation of a single tier Millstone
The illustrations below are set on a gravel bed but they can also be installed onto a deck or patio in the same way. If you want you can add pebbles and plants but they are not included.
(1) Start by positioning your base section, try to avoid placing it under overhanging trees as debri can fall into the water and block the pump
(2) Place main bowl beside the base and thread the pump cable down through the gland, now thread the cable down into the base and out the hole at the bottom.
(3) Place the main bowl onto the stand pulling through any extra cable from the base. If you have a spirit level its good to make sure each section is level.
(4) Leave a couple of inches of cable beside the pump and tighten the nut on the gland, this seals the bowl. Next push the plastic pipe onto the pump outlet.
(5) Place the horseshoe shape section around the pump, this supports the millstone while still allowing easy access to adjust or clean the pump.
(6) place the millstone onto the horseshoe shape support sliding it down over the plastic pipe. Fill the main bowl with water and turn on the pump and that's it your done. Video and Product details
Installation of 2 tier Millstone water feature
(7) If you have ordered the 2 tier design its exactly the same as above but the pipe is longer and there are a couple of extra parts
(8) Slide the spacer over the plastic pipe and into the hole in the large millstone.
(9) Slide the small millstone over the spacer.
(10) Fill the main bowl with water and turn on the pump. Video and Product details
